So Quinn Ewers led Texas to a mere 38 point lead through the first two and a half quarters, but once Sark turned the keys over to everybody’s prince, young Arch Manning…..the crowd seemed to get a little bit louder? And then on his very first play, boom, 40 yard completion. Marched his way right down the field until he scrambled out of the pocket to throw a nice little shovel pass for his first ever collegiate touchdown pass.

Might’ve been his first career touchdown but man did he look like a veteran with the celebration? Even had his own handshake ready to go as he went off to the sideline.
I don’t know what it is, but Arch Manning has aura that kids these days can only dream of. And he wasn’t done yet. Sneaking another one in on 4th down. Clutch!

He finished the game 5 of 6 for 95 yards and a touchdown, along with a touchdown on the ground. Now don’t get me wrong, obviously he wasn’t using his “legs” too much there. And he was playing against backups from a bad Colorado State team. But it’s still pretty cool that while the rest of the top teams in the country enter their scrubs into the game, interest goes away. But when Texas takes out potentially the Heisman Trophy winner, everyone tunes in.
* No worries about a QB Controversy in Austin though, seeing as Quinn Ewers was out here looking like Patrick Mahomes with the no-looks.
