Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appeared to be at a loss for words during his team’s frustrating Week 3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon.
Jerry Jones’ Cowboys are now 1-2 after losing at home for the second straight week, this time a 28-25 decision to Lamar Jackson’s Ravens. Dallas scored 19 unanswered points in the fourth quarter after trailing 28-6, but Baltimore melted the final 2:19 to barely escape Jerry World with a heart-pounding victory.
Before the Cowboys closed the gap with a strong fourth quarter, FOX’s cameras caught Jones displaying a long face with his team trailing by 22 points:

Dallas’ usually stingy defense was gashed for the second straight week. After giving up 44 points in a Week 2 home loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Cowboys allowed 456 yards on 60 plays.
The Cowboys allowed 274 passing yards, recorded zero sacks on Lamar Jackson and failed to record a single turnover. Jackson only had to attempt 15 passes (12 completed) for 182 yards in the victory.
Jerry Jones said back in January that he would have an “all-in” approach to the offseason. The Cowboys made zero moves in the offseason to bolster their roster, and sure enough, the many roster flaws are already showing through three weeks.
Jerry Jones Built This Roster, So He Has No Excuses
Perhaps no NFL owner likes making excuses as often as Mr. Jones, but he has nothing at this point. He kept head coach Mike McCarthy, waited until the last minutes to extend CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott and failed to make a single blockbuster trade or free agent signing.
