Lip readers believe they detected what Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was saying during his sideline outburst in the team’s Week 3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

FOX cameras showed CeeDee Lamb visibly frustrated during the Cowboys’ disappointing performance at AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys had just six points through three quarters, and a 19-point rally in the final frame proved too little too late as the Ravens escaped with a 28-25 victory.

Lip readers on social media believe Lamb told his teammates, “I’m not going anywhere; I’ma to be here all day.”

CeeDee Lamb finished the afternoon with four receptions for 67 yards on seven targets. Tight end Jake Ferguson finished as the Cowboys’ leading receiver with six receptions for 95 yards.

Though the Dallas offense was mostly unproductive for three quarters, the blame mostly falls on the shoulders of Mike Zimmer’s defense. Baltimore gashed the Cowboys for 274 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 45 carries.

Dallas had the No. 5 scoring defense a year ago under Dan Quinn, who left to take the Washington Commanders’ head coaching gig. Heading into Monday’s action, the Cowboys rank 30th in scoring defense (29.7 points allowed per game).

Dak Prescott & CeeDee Lamb Need More Help

The Cowboys aren’t going to contend for a playoff berth if Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb have to do the bulk of the lifting. The defense looks as helpless as the 2020 group under then-defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, and Rico Dowdle is the leading receiver with 88 (!) rushing yards through three weeks.

The offensive line has also been surprisingly vulnerable through three weeks, and veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks has been inconsistent with eight receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown.

Dallas owner Jerry Jones made headlines in January when he promised an “all-in” approach to the offseason. Jones made zero marquee trades or free agent signings, and now he’s paying the price for it.
