Pam Oliver is one of the most iconic and well-known sideline reporters in the NFL. The FOX Sports analyst has been a staple of the network since she first signed on when John Madden was still calling games.
However, she has had her fair share of embarrassing moments or funny mistakes that go viral. This time, it’s not her fault everyone is talking.
An online video shows Oliver standing on the sidelines before a Colts and Giants matchup while several players are warming up.
A Colts quarterback is doing a few practice throws when suddenly, one goes way off target and hits Oliver square in the face. As she reacts to the hit by ducking, you can see her wig nearly fly right off her head.

“Her hair twisted 180 degrees at least,” said one comment
“He definitely did that on purpose,” said another.

Oliver would end up being just fine, and other than the immediate pain from catching a ball from an NFL quarterback in the face, the worst part about this is likely that it is now immortalized on social media forever.

For many people, Oliver has been a sideline reporter for as long as they have been an NFL fan.
She has the distinction of being the longest-tenured sideline reporter of any major network and has been involved in over 500 NFL games.
She also has experience working in other sports, such as the NBA, college basketball, and several women’s sports.
