Russell Wilson is truly back.
Despite the backlash the Pittsburgh Steelers have received for changing from Justin Fields to the veteran quarterback, Wilson was still put in the starting position on Sunday Night Football against the New York Jets.
Before he took the field, Russell Wilson found himself going viral after he did his Sunday Night introduction.
Once his face came up on the screen, he said:

Wilson attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison for just one season.
In just one season at Wisconsin, Wilson connected on 225 of 309 passes (72.8%) for 3,175 yards, 33 touchdowns, and only four interceptions.

Russell spent more time with North Carolina State.
Wilson led the 2010 Wolfpack to a 9–4 season and was named second-team All-ACC and runner-up for ACC Football Player of the Year.
That year, he graduated from NC State in three years with a BA in communication and took graduate-level business courses in the fall semester during the 2010 football season.
Russell Wilson Initially Won Starting Job Before His Injury
Coach Mike Tomlin announced that Wilson will be the starting QB when the Steelers opened the season on Sept. 8, but an injury would keep him out for weeks.
The veteran quarterback finally opened his season on Sunday Night Football against the Jets.
All he has to do is play well, and he will continue to be the starting QB despite Justin Fields having a winning record.
