The NFL has seen it’s fair share of star players over 100 plus year history of existence. A lot of these players get recognized very often when they’re in public, and it seems Le’Veon Bell had an experience like that recently.

Bell is a former NFL running back who enjoyed great success in the league during the early 2000s. While he didn’t finish his career with the team, he is most notable for being one of the “Killer B’s” for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bell has been out of the league for quite some time now after fizzling out with the New York Jets, who were a dumpster fire of a franchise. More recently, he’s been involved in influencer boxing and is a fighter under KSI’s Misfits promotion.

That said, Bell clearly has some star power to his name, so his recent post to X isn’t all that surprising. He was apparently pulled over by a police officer who liked the hat Bell was wearing.

A Cop Who Knew Le’Veon Bell’s Name Let Him Go Due To His ‘MAGA’ Hat

According to Bell, the cop did everything he needed to, asking for the license and registration. While Bell was getting everything ready to hand to the officer, the officer decided to comment on the hat.

“I love your hat man,” the officer told the former Steelers star ball carrier before Bell responded saying “Of course, make america great again, sir,” after which the the officer told him to “have a good day Mr. Bell.”

Not only did the officer call him by name, but it seems like he may be a Trump supporter, as Bell clearly is. Whatever the case may be, in these trying times, it’s always nice to hear of cases like this, and we certainly hope that Bell will continue to spread the positivity!
