For the first time ever, the National Football League will flex a game into Thursday Night Football.
The NFL will flex the Broncos vs Chargers Week 16 game into Thursday Night Football and move the originally scheduled Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals game to Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Broncos and Chargers have a combined record of 13-8, while the Browns and Bengals have a combined record of 7-15. It’s becoming clear that the Broncos-Chargers game will have major AFC Wild Card playoff implications.

Los Angeles defeated Denver 23–16 in the two teams’ initial matchup on Oct. 13.
