Los Angeles Rams Starting Wide Receiver Arrested On Serious Charge Just Hours After Loss To Eagles On ‘SNF’

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was arrested early Monday morning following his team’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Robinson featured against Philly on the ‘Sunday Night Football’ fixture, making two catches for 15 yards.

According to TMZ Sports, he was apprehended on suspicion of driving under the influence after being pulled over on a Los Angeles freeway driving over 100 mph.

“Shortly after 5 a.m. an officer observed Robinson’s white Dodge sedan speeding at the alarming rate of speed,” TMZ reports. “The officers conducted a traffic stop and noticed Robinson appeared to show signs of impairment, raising suspicions that he was under the influence of alcohol.”

Demarcus Robinson Told Police He Plays For The Rams

Sources told the outlet Demarcus Robinson refused a field sobriety test before he was arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken in for processing.

“We’re told Demarcus identified himself to cops by his name and said he was an L.A. Rams player,” the report adds.

Robinson was cited for said infraction and was released to “a responsible party.”

Neither the player nor the team had commented on his arrest as of the time of writing.
