The Cincinnati Bengals did their part on Sunday to keep their playoff hope alive, but as the final weeks go on, they will need help from the Kansas City Chiefs.

They started the season 1-4 and were 4-8 at the start of December.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals have now won three straight games, improving to 7-8 on the year.

According to the New York Times, the Cincinnati Bengals have a 4% chance of making the playoffs.

The Chiefs have a chance to help them get there.

If the Chiefs lock up the number one seed in the AFC playoffs, they are expected to still play their starters in their final game of the regular season.

Their final game will be on a Wednesday, which means the team will be inactive for 25 days before the start of the 2nd round.

Multiple things have to happen for the Bengals to make the postseason, and it starts with winning their final two games against the Broncos and Steelers.

The Cincinnati Bengals also need the Broncos to lose to the Chiefs in Week 18.

This is quite the need as the Bengals have gone head-to-head in back-to-back AFC Championship games, with both teams advancing to the Super Bowl against the other.

Now, the Bengals need one of their most hated rivals to help them out.

The Cincinnati Bengals Still Need More Teams To Lose To Qualify For The Postseason

Cincinnati has won its past three games.

Cincinnati’s only chance to make the playoffs is as a wild-card team. The Bengals have to fight off multiple teams to make the playoffs.

The Bengals need the Broncos to lose to the Chiefs in Week 18, but they also need the Colts to lose one of their final two games.

The Dolphins also need to lose one of their final two games.
