Jason Kelce, who is already enjoying his retirement, was never one to receive intense attention due to his position in the National Football League.
Things changed drastically as his brother, Travis, began dating Taylor Swift. That has led to millions of people getting to know him and ensuring that his name comes up just as much due to who his brother is.
Unfortunately, it appears fans in the NFL have grown tired of him.
ESPN signed a multi-year agreement with Super Bowl Champion Jason Kelce to work on Monday Night Football.
With just a few more games left, fans have had enough of seeing the former center.
This past Monday night may have done it for good, as Kelce was on the pregame coverage for the Packers and Saints.
At one point, dressed in a Santa suit, Kelce was seen singing an improvised version of “Silent Night” that gave a shoutout to one of his Monday Night Countdown cohosts.
When he’s not on broadcast, fans are likely to see him in several commercials for Buffalo Wild Wings and Campbell’s Chunky Spicy Nashville-Style Hot Chicken Soup.
Not to mention, he has a widely popular podcast with his brother as well.
During Monday night’s game between the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints, sports radio host Scott Puryear started off the Jason Kelce hate train when he wrote: “I don’t know about you, but I am about Jason Kelce’d out,” Puryear wrote. “Ninety-nine percent of America didn’t even know who he was when he was one of the best NFL linemen in the game. Now, he’s in every other commercial. Stop the madness.”
Many more would begin complaining as well:
“I am so tired of Jason kelce’s shtick,” one fan said.
“Sick and tired of seeing kelce or any other smoe on commercials 😑😑😑,” one fan added.
“Alright I am officially tired of seeing Jason Kelce everywhere,” another X user said.
One bold fan spoke out: “I’m so damn tired of seeing/hearing about jason kelce and his family.”
Another X user added, “How can I just opt out of all Jason Kelce content? I’m tired of seeing his goddamn face everywhere.”
Jason Kelce Is Not Going Anywhere
Despite how NFL fans may feel, Jason Kelce isn’t going anywhere.
With the increased attention on him due to his brother dating Taylor Swift, networks such as ESPN will make sure he is on television if it means that a few million more Swifties will tune in.
Basically, Kelce is here to stay.
