FOX Sports Cuts Off Rob Gronkowski Abruptly As He Started To Criticize Robert Kraft Over Jerod Mayo Firing

Things got a little awkward on FOX NFL Sunday’s postgame show.

New England owner Robert Kraft released a statement via the team’s social media handles that read:

The decision was discussed on FOX NFL Sunday’s postgame show and it sure sounded like four-time Super Bowl champion and legendary Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was not happy with the decision.

As Gronkowski was sounded off on Kraft’s decision to relive Mayo of his duties, Michael Strahan steppe din to cut off him off as he said the show needed to cut to commercial.

Here’s the entire clip:

Following the decision to fire Mayo, all indications seem to be that the Patriots will be hiring another former legend – Mike Vrabel as their next head coach.
