Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes did it.
On Monday night, Ohio State took down the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 34-23, in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The Irish were able to take an early 7-0 lead before the Buckeyes went on a 31-0 run of their own, taking full control of the game.
Notre Dame made it interesting in the end, coming within one score, but Ohio State was able to pull it out.
As the clock hit triple zeroes, ESPN cameras caught Day taking off his head set and launching it into the Mercedes-Benz Stadium stands after getting the Gatorade bath.
Ryan Day has come a long way since the Buckeyes suffered an embarrassing loss to Michigan last November.
