The podcaster shares her daughters Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett with husband Jason Kelce
Kylie Kelce’s daughters are rooting for Uncle Trav at the Super Bowl – in the cutest way possible.
On this week’s episode of her podcast Not Gonna Lie, the pregnant mom of three shared that she found the sweetest way for her daughters — Bennett, 23 months, Elliotte, 2, and Wyatt, 5 — to cheer on their uncle, Travis Kelce, as he heads to the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs to take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
“I will say we have made moves to get the girls ‘Go Uncle Trav’ shirts because they love their uncle, and of course they love cheering him on,” Kylie said during the episode.
“And to be fair, they love cheering on the Birds too, but he is our family and I wanna make sure that the girls feel included,” she added.
Last year when the Chiefs went to the Super Bowl, Kylie shared that while the adult members of the Kelce family would be in attendance, she and her former Eagles player husband Jason Kelce had decided that their girls were better off cheering on Uncle Trav from home.
“They will be at home,” Kylie revealed to PEOPLE, explaining she’d prefer to keep them home “as long as Dad’s not playing.”
“I think it’s a little bit controversial but even during regular season games, I don’t take the girls to every game. They’re still very young,” she reasoned. “A stadium with thousands of people can be overwhelming and there’s three of them. It can get hectic, it’s just a lot.”
Kylie also shared that she prioritizes her daughters’ success when it comes to deciding whether or not they’ll attend an event.
“I love to do things that set them up for success. The thought of traveling cross-country with them [while] Jason’s going to be super busy, and putting them in maybe a stressful environment, isn’t ideal,” she said. “We think they’ll be much, much happier to see Uncle Trav on the TV because it’ll be easier to see him and they can cheer him on that way.”
“The goal of the day is to just cheer on the Chiefs and make sure that we cheer hard enough that Uncle Trav can feel the energy and he can put that right onto the field.”
