Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was rushed to hospital from Brooklyn lock up last week.
Sources confirmed that the disgraced rapper was rushed to hospital at 10pm on Thursday for an MRI for a noninvasive test.
The scan was booked in because his “knee was bothering him” the source said, adding that the appointment was booked late at night to avoid drawing attention and speculation.
He did not stay in hospital overnight and was returned to his cell, post MRI.
A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson said, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for anyone in our custody to include medical status or medical trips.”
Combs, currently in federal custody, is awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges following his arrest on September 16, after he was denied bail on December 3.
His attorneys deny the allegations, stating, “These complaints are full of lies. We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.”
In October, reports surfaced about alleged “freak off” parties where women were reportedly coerced into exhaustive sexual acts. Most recently, three men have accused Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting them, with lawsuits alleging spiked drinks and assault during unconsciousness.
His trial is scheduled to begin May 5.
