REPORT: Ticket Prices For Super Bowl 59 In New Orleans Have Plummeted Over 50% In A Week

Super Bowl 59 ticket prices in New Orleans are reportedly dropping fast.

According to the resale app Gametime via TMZ Sports, the get-in prices for Sunday’s big game are continuing to fall the closer we get to kickoff. The lowest ticket is costing around $4,300 which is still expensive but still down from $5,800 price that it was last Friday and $6,300 two weeks ago.

According to Forbes.com, 50-yard line tickets to the Super Bowl cost nearly 60% less on the resale market as a week ago, indicating that this year’s championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will not be the priciest in NFL history after all.

The prices are also significantly cheaper than last year’s Super Bowl rematch between the Chiefs and 49ers in Las Vegas. As the lowest-priced ticket for that contest, according to Gametime, was $8,764; with the peak reaching as high as $37,620.

It’s also worth noting that this year’s prices are significantly lower than the first time the Chiefs and Eagles met back in Super Bowl LVII in Arizona — which went as low as $6,264 and as high as $33,042, respectively.
