Former San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick continues NFL comeback push, hoping for a return nearly a decade after his last snap.
He refuses to give up.
Kaepernick’s dream of an NFL return hasn’t faded yet, at least to his girlfriend.
His girlfriend, Nessa Diab, told TMZ Sports that Kaepernick is training “all day, every day” in hopes of getting a phone call from any team to sign him up and give him his second chance back in the league.
“All day, every day,” Diab said of Kaepernick’s training. “Nothing has changed. Nothing.”
Kaepernick has long maintained the stance that teams blackballed him after kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial injustice.
At the time of his blackballing, Colin Kaepernick was 29 years old. He was coming off a 2016 season in which he threw 16 touchdowns to four interceptions. The San Francisco 49ers went 1-10 in his 11 starts that season.
Just four years prior, Kaepernick had led the 49ers to the Super Bowl.
NFL Teams Have Already Made Their Decision About Colin Kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick last appeared in an NFL game on Jan. 1, 2017.
It has been over eight years since he played competitive football, yet he continues to hope for a second chance.
If that opportunity ever arises, Kaepernick will be ready.
It will not happen.
Jim Harbaugh, now head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, made comments to Kaepernick about joining his coaching staff for the 2024 season. It would never happen.
No NFL team is looking to bring an almost 40-year-old quarterback on the team, which is why he has received zero phone calls.
Clearly, the NFL has moved on from Kaepernick.
