Shedeur Sanders had a five-word message after slipping to the fourth round of the NFL Draft on Friday night.
The former Colorado Buffaloes star is now believed to be in danger of going undrafted despite being a projected first-round pick in the buildup to this week, having watched several other quarterbacks selected before him, including a 25-year-old injury-prone Tyler Shough.
Shedeur was expected to be a lock in the second round after slipping on Thursday night. But he has since fallen out of the third round, much to everyone’s shock.
While the QB is well aware that his talent should have been enough to get him on a team by now, he expressed gratitude online, taking to X with a message.
“Thank you GOD for EVERYTHING,” he wrote.
Thank you GOD for EVERYTHING
