VIDEOS: Tomorrowland’s Mainstage Destroyed by Massive Fire Just Days Before 2025 Kickoff

A major fire broke out on the main stage at the Tomorrowland festival site in Boom, Belgium, less than two days before the massive event was set to open.

Videos circulated on social media showed flames engulfing the elaborate set.

No festival-goers are currently in attendance, although many employees are believed to be on-site for set up.

For those who have never heard of the festival, Tomorrowland is a large-scale electronic dance music festival that typically draws upwards of 400,000 spectators. The first edition of Tomorrowland took place in 2005 and last year’s event attracted 400,000 people.


As of right now, it is still on tap to begin Friday as part of a two-weekend run that ends July 27.

Residents living close to the Tomorrowland Music festival area have been advised to keep their windows and doors closed.

Footage shows large flames and thick smoke engulfing the iconic stage.

While the incident’s visuals are widely shared, official confirmation from festival organizers or local authorities is still pending.

Festival organizers have not indicated any plans to cancel it.
