Olympic Gold Medal Sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson Arrested

American track and field star and Olympic gold medalist Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested last Sunday at the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport on a domestic violence charge.

According to an incident report obtained by TMZ, Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Christian Coleman, at the airport. Richardson has been charged with fourth-degree assault.

In the report, an officer says they viewed surveillance footage where the 2024 Olympic gold medalist shoved “Coleman hard enough that it [sent] him crashing into a nearby column.”

The incident report states that Christian Coleman attempted to walk away from Sha’Carri Richardson, who pushed him a second time. She then allegedly threw a pair of headphones at Coleman.

According to the report, police spoke with both Richardson and Coleman, and the latter declined to press charges.
