An unhappy Arizona Cardinals fan went viral with the perfect reaction to the team’s struggles against the Seattle Seahawks during “Thursday Night Football.”
Debuting their “rivalries” uniforms that were widely panned by NFL fans, Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals displayed 45 minutes of uninspiring football before finally showing some life with a Marvin Harrison Jr. late in the fourth quarter.
Frustrated Cardinals fans booed their team off the field in the first half, mustering only a field goal against their NFC West rivals. And let’s just say the reaction of this Cardinals fan (with the perfect facepaint design) summed up the mood well:
What can we say? Few things are harder than being a long-suffering fan of the Arizona Cardinals. They boast the longest championship drought among all North American sports franchises at 78 years.
The Cardinals were supposed to re-emerge as a playoff contender after drafting Murray first overall in 2019, but they have just one winning season and playoff appearance (2021) since 2016.
At least that lucky Cardinals fan got to enjoy his 15 seconds of fame.
