Things are just getting worse for Mark Sanchez.
On Monday, the former NFL quarterback found out that he is now facing a felony battery charge over an altercation between him and a 69-year-old truck driver early Saturday in Indianapolis.
Sanchez was previously charged on Sunday while recovering in the hospital with several misdemeanors. He was originally charged with battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication.
Sanchez, who was scheduled to call the Indianapolis Colts’ Week 5 home game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, was replaced with former Notre Dame football quarterback Brady Quinn as a result of the altercation.
Now things have only gotten worse.
The New York Post has released damning footage that shows Mark Sanchez stumbling after being stabbed in Indianapolis.

According to witnesses and the driver, Sanchez was the aggressor and bodyslammed the driver, which led to him being stabbed.
Mark Sanchez Will Likely Lose His Job
Fox Sports analyst and former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez is now facing at least one felony charge for his role in a fight that ended with him being stabbed by a 69-year-old man.
He was in town to call Sunday’s Colts game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He had to be replaced. Due to his alleged actions, he may never return to his job. There is no way Fox Sports could welcome him back while he is going through this incident.
His charges could be upgraded, as the Indianapolis police are still investigating several search warrants that may lead to new evidence.
We are only at the beginning of this situation that likely won’t come to a conclusion until 2026.
Fox Sports hasn’t stated whether he will be back, but it seems apparent that Mark Sanchez will not be calling any more games for the remainder of the 2025 season.
