Football fans are convinced that Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is broken after a strange video surfaced of him practicing on the sideline during last night’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Harrison Butker is among the most accurate kickers in NFL history, making 84.0 percent of his kicks in seven of his first eight seasons. But Butker has uncharacteristically struggled this season, making 11-of-14 kicks and missing three extra points.

During Sunday night’s game, X/Twitter user @McKenzieMNelson showed a video of Butker curiously hesitating to kick the ball into the net on the sidelines:

Now, NFL fans are convinced that Harrison Butker has lost all confidence and is broken.

“He better do it 1000 times more before the post season,” said a fan.

“New kick off rules have messed with him,” another commented.

“It’s the Yips,” a user wrote.

“He’s enjoying his last moments at Arrowhead,” a fan said.

“It’s in his head,” another wrote.

“That is a totally different kick from when he’s actually in the game,” a user commented.

Per ESPN, Harrison Butker has a career field goal percentage of 88.0, but his 2025 mark stands at a disappointing 78.6. Given his career track record, it’s rather evident that it’s all in his mind and that Butker just needs to get through that mental block to regain his near-automatic form.
