Cameras caught Washington Commanders player development coach Pete Ohnegian nearly throwing down with Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu in a wild scene during their ‘Monday Night Football’ game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Not much went right for the Commanders in a 28-7 road loss to the Chiefs on Monday night. Playing without star quarterback Jayden Daniels because of a hamstring injury, the Commanders could hardly muster any offense on Monday night.
Frustrations mounted for Pete Ohnegian on the sidelines after Charles Omenihu pushed quarterback Marcus Mariota down to the ground. Ohnegian actually put a hand on Omenihu, and the two exchanged words as the referee stepped in to break it up:

Omenihu had one quarterback hit in the Chiefs’ blowout win, per ESPN. While Steve Spagnuolo’s defense put the clamps down on the Commanders, Patrick Mahomes had another field day with 299 passing yards, three touchdowns and 30 rushing yards in the victory.
Kansas City extended its winning streak to three and sits at 5-3 heading into Sunday’s clash with the Buffalo Bills. The Commanders will return home to face the Seattle Seahawks on ‘Sunday Night Football.’
