The Jacksonville Jaguars are moving temporarily.

Relocation rumors have surrounded the Jacksonville Jaguars for over a decade, with London being frequently floated as a possible destination. The AFC South club plays at least one game in London each year, after all, and owner Shad Khan is the owner of the popular Fulham Football Club in West London.

For one year, the Jaguars will be relocating. But they won’t be going very far.

According to Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel, the Jacksonville Jaguars will play their 2027 home games at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. That’s because their current home, EverBank Stadium, will be undergoing $2 billion worth of renovations, making it temporarily unavailable.

University of Florida official informed Bianchi that the Jaguars will be playing in Orlando, not at the Gators’ home field, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The reason? Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is also undergoing renovations in 2027.

Bianchi added that NFL owners would have to vote on the temporary move, though it’s simply “a formality and a technicality.”

See you in Orlando in 2027, Jacksonville fans.

The Jaguars made one big move at the trade deadline, acquiring standout wide receiver Jakobi Meyers from the Las Vegas Raiders. The move was made days after Travis Hunter had to be placed on the injured reserve with a knee injury, giving Jacksonville valuable depth at the WR position.

With star wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. also battling an injury, the Jaguars need Meyers, Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne Jr. to step up. Over their next four games, the Jags only face one team with a winning record, and that’s the banged-up 6-3 Los Angeles Chargers.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but the Jaguars have exceeded expectations thus far, and being in a playoff spot is a nice bonus. A win in Week 11 over the Chargers, who occupy one of the AFC’s three wild card spots, would boost their postseason chances tremendously.
