Bad Bunny’s Controversial Clothing Choice For Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show Revealed As He Plans To Make Major Political Statement In Front Of The World

They don’t call him Bad Bunny for nothing.

Bad Bunny is one of the more controversial halftime show performers in Super Bowl history. And, by the time it’s all over, the NFL could field even harsher criticism.

The league’s decision to have the Puerto Rican take charge of the halftime show sparked widespread backlash nationwide. Many pointed out that the rapper’s first language isn’t English, while his most popular songs are mostly Spanish.

The NFL also dropped a recent Spanish teaser that really riled fans up.

Bunny’s stance on Donald Trump’s immigration drive also caused a stir. His selection drew comments from the President, although Trump claimed he had no idea who the performer was.

Additionally, Bunny’s fluidity raised concerns, with some noting that he could come across as a negative influence in certain households.

Source Says The NFL Has “No Idea” What It’s In For

Folks worried about the latter will probably not love his rumored plans.

Radar Online spoke to one of the artist’s stylists, who says he intends to wear a dress as part of his performance on February 8.

According to the stylist, Bad Bunny plans to don the above as a political statement and a nod to Puerto Rican queer icons.

“He loves controversy. He lives to push envelopes,” the unnamed stylist was quoted as saying.

They added, “He is 100 percent going to wear a dress. A political thunderbolt disguised as couture.”

Another source told the publication the dress was already being made.

“He’s not playing it safe,” they said.“The NFL has no idea what’s coming. Zero. Let them complain. The dress is already being sewn.”

This all remains to be seen, but it would spark quite the firestorm should Bad Bunny perform in a dress, plus whatever else the NFL has “no idea” about.
