Kid Rock says he wants to spread love.
Kid Rock had a lot to say about his performance at Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show,” which will try to compete with the NFL’s Halftime Show, featuring Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny.
The former rapper, 55, forcedly canceled the 2026 “Rock the Country” tour, which had multiple stops around the United States. However, it was informed earlier this week that the July 25-26 events were canceled.
“This summer’s “Rock The County” multiday concert, part of a MAGA-friendly series headlined by country music stars Kid Rock and Jason Aldean, has been canceled as artists once part of the tour have dropped out — with at least one citing political division.
Anderson County, which stood to benefit financially from the rock-country event’s multimillion-dollar economic impact, was informed the night of Feb. 5 that the two-day concert had been canceled, Administrator Rusty Burns told The Post and Courier Feb. 6.”
Kid Rock Says His Halftime Show Is For “Undeserved” Americans
His commitment to Turning Point USA continues, though. During a Friday appearance on “Fox & Friends,” the 55-year-old said that the event will try to spread love.
“I think I speak for Turning Point and all the artists involved, that none of us are approaching this with any hate in our hearts at all,” Kid Rock said. “It’s just a love for our base and love for music, our country.”
More than that, he said that he’ll try to get conservative Americans to celebrate their patriotism, calling them “undeserved” when it comes to entertainment options in the mainstream media.
“There’s a big portion of this country, like it or not, that’s underserved entertainment-wise,” Kid Rock said. “We’re just [going to] go play for our base. You know, people who love America, love football, love Jesus.”
The show will be streamed across TPUSA’s digital platforms while Bad Bunny performs at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
