Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had some special company for his arrival at the team’s first preseason game on Friday night.
Before the Eagles visited the Baltimore Ravens on Friday night, cameras caught Jalen Hurts walking through the stadium in a slick green outfit with that read “Gucci Crew”. And right by his side was Eagles head of security “Big Dom” DiSandro:

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles are looking to rebound from a disappointing end to a 2023 season that saw them lose five of their final six regular season games. Their season concluded with an ugly blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Rod.
DiSandro has been with the Eagles since 1999, serving as an assistant to the Chief Security Officer for his first 13 seasons. Since 2011, he has been the Senior Advisor to the General Manager/Chief Security Officer. In June, Big Dom was named the team’s Director of Gameday Coaching Operations.

Big Dom made headlines during the Eagles’ Week 13 home game against the 49ers last December when he got into a heated confrontation with San Francisco linebacker Dre Greenlaw. The team was fined $100,000, and the NFL suspended DiSandro from the team sidelines for the remainder of the regular season.
Last season, Jalen Hurts completed 65.4 percent of pass attempts for 3,858 yards and 23 touchdowns against 15 interceptions to go along with 605 rushing yards and a career-high 15 rushing scores.
Jalen Hurts & Eagles Open Season vs. Packers
Hurts and the Eagles will kick off their 2024 campaign against another top NFC team, Jordan Love’s Gree Bay Packers, on Sept. 9 in São Paulo. This will mark the first-ever NFL game to be held in Brazil.
This contest could very well be an early postseason preview, with the Eagles and Packers both among the front-runners to represent the NFC in Super Bowl 59.
