NFL sold out of Harrison Butker women’s jerseys following Benedictine graduation speech
If you’re a fan of Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker, new or old, and you’re looking to buy his jersey, you could be waiting a while.
One of the top-selling jerseys on NFL, No. 7 ironically, is Harrison Butker’s red men’s jersey. It is also among the most popular Kansas City Chiefs jerseys being purchased.
For women, that popularity seems to be even more the case. The page to purchase that jersey says: Out of Stock.
Butker’s jersey sales have soared in the aftermath of his address to the graduates of Benedictine College. His comments on motherhood and family life among others have sparked conversation across social media nationwide.
“While COVID might have played a large role throughout your formative years, it is not unique,” he said. “The bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues. Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for the degenerate cultural values and media all stem from pervasiveness of disorder.”
Butker, a traditional Catholic whose faith is no secret on his social media platforms, has been outspoken in his stance on abortion and family life. In his speech, Butker shared with the graduates, specifically the women in attendance, how his wife has felt most fulfilled in her life being a homemaker.
