Kansas City Chiefs heiress Ava Hunt caused some buzz on social media when she turned heads in a photo with a former United States President.

Ava, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, is a cheerleader at Southern Methodist University, where former POTUS George Bush made a recent appearance.

Bush was consulted by SMU to help with their push for realignment. He campaigned for the school to join the ACC and has attended Mustangs games since the move.

He and his wife Laura were recently pictured meeting the school’s cheerleading squad, with Ava Hunt among the dancers with whom he appeared in a photo.

George Bush Has A Close Relationship With Ava Hunt’s University

Bush has close ties to SMU, which won a bid to nest the George W. Bush Presidential Center. The center was dedicated in April 2013.

Per the school’s website“The Bush Center comprises the George W. Bush Presidential Museum, which examines the consequential times during which President and Mrs. Bush served, as well as the George W. Bush Institute, a nonpartisan independent policy organization focused on ensuring opportunity for all, strengthening democracy, and advancing free societies.”

The Mustangs have done very well so far this season, boasting a 5-1 record. Their only loss came against BYU, who beat them 18-15 on September 6.

They will suit up against Stanford this Saturday evening.
