Former Princeton football player Martin “Tiger” Bech was one of the fifteen people tragically killed in the New Orleans truck attack early Wednesday morning.
His brother Jack Bech, a TCU player, confirmed on social media, “Love you always, brother,” Jack shared in a post on X.”
“You inspired me (every day) now you get to be with me in every moment. I got this family T, don’t worry. This is for us.”
Tiger Bech’s death was also confirmed by his mother, Michelle Bech, to ABC News as she told the outlet that her son lived life to the fullest and was “on top of the world.”
Jack Bech led the Horned Frogs with 1,039 receiving yards and nine touchdowns this season.
Tiger Bech’s death brought upon a large number of tributes online:

Tiger Bech Had a Notable College Career Before Tragic Ending
Tiger Bech was taken way too soon as a result of the presumed terror attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.
Bech played football at STM before going on to play at Princeton.
He was an All-Ivy League performer, spending three seasons at Princeton from 2016-18.
During his three-year career at Princeton, Bech caught 53 passes for 825 yards with three touchdowns.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he graduated from Princeton in 2021 with a degree in finance and worked as a trader at Seaport Global, a New York brokerage firm.
