Texans’ Kris Boyd Shoves Special Teams Coach After Penalty On Opening Kickoff vs Chiefs

It was quite the eventful start of the Houston Texans.

Following the opening kickoff that was returned to the Texans’ 13-yard line by the Chiefs to start Saturday’s AFC Divisional Round Game, Texans defensive back Kris Boyd removed his helmet and threw it in anger. He was penalized for it.

But that wasn’t all — ESPN cameras captured Boyd shoving special teams coordinator Frank Ross on the Texans sideline.

The Texans were able to hold the Chiefs’ to just a field goal despite the 15-yard penalty and return by the Chiefs.
