She’s back!
Taylor Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday for the Kansas City Chiefs‘ Divisional Round matchup against the Houston Texans.
And she got there a little earlier than she normally does. That just proves that Swift is playoff ready.
The singer was joined by her entire family, sitting with her mother, Andrea, along with her father, Scott, and brother, Austin.
This is the eighth game Swift has attended at Arrowhead Stadium this season, and she has proven to be the good luck charm. So, they will certainly need her for this matchup.
She was also seen chatting with play-by-play announcer Joe Buck.
Many wanted to know whether the singer would be at the game, and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce confirmed it earlier this week during an appearance on the Pat McAfee show on Monday.
“Is there going to be an aura in that place, a little bit extra? You know what we’re talking about,” McAfee asked, alluding to whether Swift would be in the building.
“Oh yeah, you know it, baby,” Kelce responded. “It’s playoff football, man.”
Taylor Swift encouraging Chiefs TE Travis Kelce to do the opposite of what everyone thinks is coming
Travis Kelce has hinted more than once this season that he is thinking about retirement.
While nobody is sure exactly when that announcement will come, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has made it clear that he is towards the end of the his career.
However, there is one key member of Chiefs Kingdom that is encouraging him to continue playing the game he loves so much.
It’s none other than Taylor Swift.
“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” Kelce said during an appearance on the Stephen A. Smith Show. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”
Despite both having busy schedules, the star couple take every opportunity to support each other. And when Kelce speaks about the singer, it shows how much he loves her.
“Me and Taylor are happy,” he said. “And I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and comfort off the field, and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium.”
So, if it’s up to Swift, she wants to keep coming to Arrowhead and seeing Kelce and the Chiefs dominate the NFL.
Hopefully her words can keep him playing a little bit longer.
