DeMar DeRozan was involved in a physical altercation with a fan at a sushi restaurant in Southern California on Friday, which ended in one of them being put into an ambulance.
The Sacramento Kings star was having dinner at the establishment when a man approached him while recording, claiming he was being kicked out. DeRozan was not happy to have his meal disturbed and shoved the phone.
Things quickly got out of hand, and a video from TMZ shows the NBA player appearing to put the man on the ground. The fan is heard asking for his phone several times after getting up, while a female stands between them to prevent things from escalating further.

According to witnesses, the altercation started after the man shoved the phone in the player’s face while his flash was on.

The fan ended up in an ambulance and is said to have been stretchered out.
TMZ reports having been told by police that the matter is under investigation.
The incident comes two days after the Kings were eliminated from the playoffs by the Dallas Mavericks via the Play-In Tournament.
The Mavs were eliminated by the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.
