NFL Fans Were Totally Duped By Wild Online Report Involving The “Hawk Tuah” Girl And The Minnesota Vikings

NFL fans were completely fooled by a social media post that made some wild claims about the “Hawk Tuah” Girl and the Minnesota Vikings.

The NFC North News X/Twitter account put out a tweet in which they reported that Haliey Welch would blow the team’s famed Gjallarhorn before their home opener against the San Francisco 49ers next season following quarterback Sam Darnold getting caught “shooting his shot” at the internet sensation.

“BREAKING: The viral “Hawk Tauh” girl is going to get the honor of blowing the #Vikings Gjallarhorn before Minnesota’s home opener vs the #49ers,” it reads.

“This comes days after Minnesota’s starting QB Sam Darnold was seen on Instagram “shooting his shot” with the new internet star. WOW.”

Fans Really Fell For The Fake “Hawk Tuah” News

Of course, this is all parody, but the joke was lost on many fans.

“Shows how lost we are as a society,” one lamented.

“She better hauk tuah that thang first,” another suggested.

“Joke Franchise, a third wrote.

“@Vikings gets it…. Well done, Minnesota,” a fourth noted.

“This is getting out of hand,” said another.

“If true they’re trying to offset their massive miscalculation on their Pride messaging with a Minnesota-esque classic overcorrection,” one user wrote. “This is the “defund the police” of Vikings PR.”

One fan asked the important question.

“is she going to spit on it too? or just blow it?”

Way to keep things in perspective.

As for Darnold, he will have to put that work in himself if he’s to hook up with the “Hawk Tuah” Girl.
