When it comes to ownership, culture, stadium, practice facility and more, there aren’t many who do it better than the Minnesota Vikings.
The devotion for making the Vikings the best team in the league to root or play for was on display this week ahead of their pivotal matchup in Detroit where the 1 seed in the NFC will be decided.
Detroit can be one of the toughest places to play in the NFL, and knowing that, the Wilfs decided to buy nearly $2M in lower bowl tickets behind the bench and sell them back to season ticket holders for a steep discount, some as low as $200 for tickets with face value in the thousands.
The move was so crazy that the Lions contacted the league about it wanting to flag it, but the NFL notified the Lions that no rules were broken.
