Karmelo Anthony, the now 18-year-old, was indicted for murder in the stabbing death of Austin Metcalf at the Frisco ISD track meet.

Witnesses told police that then-17-year-old Karmelo Anthony stabbed and killed 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a dispute in the stadium bleachers.

The Frisco, Texas, native claims he was defending himself. An argument led to a stabbing, and many lives changed forever. Police claim that Anthony admitted to the stabbing, but “out of self-defense.”

Heading into his trial, Anthony receives an apology from an outspoken commentator.

Charleston White, who believed that murder suspect Karmelo Anthony was guilty, has apologized after finding out the facts of the case.

In a viral video clip, White apologized to the Anthony family for his comments about doubting the honor student’s innocence.

“I want to take the time to apologize to Karmelo Anthony’s family. I was wrong about that kid.”

White stated that he had met with Anthony’s father and obtained information about what happened between his child and Metcalf. That was enough for White to reverse course.

White details what the father told him about the incident and concludes that Anthony will beat the charges.

Charleston even went as far as to state that Karmelo should’ve killed both Metcalf brothers based on their alleged reputation as bullies.
