“I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker”: Jason Kelce issues statement as fan questions Eagles icon’s take on Harrison Butker

Harrison Butker has permeated into every NFL conversation. While Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce did not find many of the comments from the Kansas City Chiefs kicker appealing, one fan called him out for it. In response, the former Eagles center did not back away.

On X, a fan took a stand that Kelce should’ve agreed or supported Butker in his viewpoints, stating that Kelce’s wife, Kylie, is also a homemaker. The fan also called out the cleanliness of their home.

“Your wife is a homemaker. But you can’t support Butker. And your wife is a homemaker whose home is a mess. Sorry, but it is dirty and messy on television. Seems you’re a bit hypocritical. Y’all are going to be left with nothing but swifties. You just ruined your gig. It’s a shame.”

However, the 2018 Super Bowl winner did not let this comment pass by. Jason Kelce gave a lengthy reply to the fan and to several others who have been questioning the nature of his relationship with his wife.

“I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife. I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can.

“It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with 3 young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks.”

Harrison Butker’s speech has generated a lot of conversation, but Jason Kelce has finished this particular one.

What did Jason Kelce say about Harrison Butker’s speech?

Jason Kelce agreed that the Chiefs kicker had the freedom of speech to express and espouse his religious views. On the latest episode of his podcast, “New Heights,” Kelce clarified that he doesn’t agree with the majority of Butker’s views:

“I can listen to somebody talk and take great value in it, like when he’s talking about the importance of family and the importance that a great mother can make.

“When you’re listening to somebody talk, you take things in that you like. You listen to other things and you say, ‘I don’t f–king like that’.”

Amid all the controversy, Harrison Butker has also doubled down on his views from the commencement speech.
