Football fans are loving George Pickens’ hysterical player intro for NBC Sports’ broadcast of the Dallas CowboysPhiladelphia Eagles game.

For their “Sunday Night Football” broadcasts, NBC Sports has a feature where the starters on offense and defense introduce themselves and the university they came from. But rather than casually mention his alma mater, the University of Georgia, George Pickens said he’s from “Drip University.”

Fans had all sorts of hilarious reactions to George Pickens’ “Drip University” comment:

“🤣🤣,” wrote a fan.

“He’s him,” another said.

“George Pickens Drip University” 🤣,” wrote a user.

“George Pickens … Drip University … LOL #NFLKickoff,” a fan commented.

“George Pickens – DRIP UNIVERSITY 😭 We are back,” said another.

The Cowboys acquired George Pickens in a blockbuster trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers after the 2025 NFL Draft, adding another stud receiver to complement CeeDee Lamb. The 24-year-old Pickens is in the final year of his rookie deal.

A second-round pick (No. 52 overall) of the Steelers in 2022, Pickens had his best season in 2023 when he caught 63 passes for 1,140 yards and five touchdowns.
