Monday Night Football went from being an excellent night for Washington Commanders fans to a bad one during the contest against the Chicago Bears.

The team fumbled the game away at the end, and their fan base was too busy fighting each other to notice.

During a rainy night inside Northwest Stadium, footage from the stands showed multiple fans in the cheap seats engaged in fights, with power punches thrown from every direction.

The Commanders’ fans, who were fighting against Giants fans last month, were seen shirtless and flying over seats just to hurt their opposition at the time. An entire section was cleared out just so they could get their violence out.

What’s even crazier is that a few of these Washington Commanders fans appeared to be of an advanced age and well past this stage of fighting in their life.

One thing about Commanders fans is that they will fight and will do so anywhere, at any time. Fighting inside Northwest Stadium must be a rite of passage because it happened during the 2024 season when one got thrown down multiple rows of seats during a game against the Falcons.

The Washington Commanders Fumble The Game Away

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt wish they could have one play back from last night.

The Chicago Bears got vengeance on the Commanders as they rallied from an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit for a 25-24 victory.

Jake Moody, who got cut by the 49ers, hit the game-winning 38-yard field goal as time expired to give Chicago its third straight win.

The Bears’ game-winning drive happened after Jayden Daniels’ fumble on a hand-off to Jacory Crosley-Merritt with about 3 minutes left.

A win could’ve put them in a tie with the struggling Philadelphia Eagles.

Jayden Daniels took responsibility for that fourth-quarter fumble that played a significant role in Washington losing the game.

According to Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic, Daniels said: “I just lost the ball. Completely my fault. Didn’t give [running back] Bill [Croskey-Merritt] a chance, so it’s my fault.”
