Thousand Of Viewers Make Some Complaint About Tom Cruise’s Stunt During Olympics Closing Ceremony

Thousands made the same complaint about Tom Cruise’s stunt during the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Thousands came together on Sunday 11 August at the Stade de France to watch the closing ceremony after what was a very eventful Olympics.

As is the usual tradition, the ceremony centred around “passing” the Olympics onto the next hosting country.

Some huge stars were featured in the ceremony as way to ceremoniously pass the olympics to Los Angeles – where the 2028 games will be held.

Tom Cruise, in typical Mission Impossible fashion, abseiled off the roof of the stadium and landed into a crowd of sports fans before dramatically getting on a motorbike and speeding out of the stadium onto the streets of Paris while carrying the Olympic flag.

The video clip then showed the star getting on a plane and taking the flag to Los Angeles.

Fans were left feeling “underwhelmed” by his stunt. One person said:

“That Tom Cruise thing was underwhelming to be honest,”

While another agreed:

“Opening & closing ceremony both extremely bland, no passion, no imagination totally without a highlight to mention & Tom cruise on a big of string was totally underwhelming.”

While a third said:

“Stunning and wonderfully pointless,” with a fourth fan agreeing:

“Bare minimum stunt, I expected better from Tom Cruise.”

There were some who loved the stunt, however:

“[Cruise] did all of his favorite stunts, jumped off of a building, rode a motorcycle, ran a bit, climbed a bit, and of course jumped out of an aeroplane. A Mission Impossible supercut.”
