The Chiefs teammates struggled to put on jerseys during the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City.
Whenever Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes team up, either Super Bowl rings or amusing shenanigans ensue. And recently, it was the latter.
On June 1, the Kansas City Chiefs teammates reunited during the NFL off-season for a good cause. They participated in the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, Mo.—a two-day event that raises money for Children’s Mercy—along with Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Eric Stonestreet, Heidi Gardner and more.
A video shared via TikTok from the charity event caught the attention of fans as Kelce and Mahomes joked about their “dad bods.” While onstage, the NFL stars each received a Chiefs jersey with their numbers on them.
“They still fit, even in the off-season,” an announcer said. “Keeping it tight.”
Except, the quarterback and tight end struggled to put on the game jerseys overtop the shirts they were already wearing.
“It’s dad bod season,” Mahomes joked while attempting to roll down the jersey.
As Kelce’s shirt became stuck on his shoulders and two people rushed over to help him into it, he declared, “I have no kids. This is just what it looks like at 35.”

In the comments, TikTok users reacted to the self-deprecating remarks. One person wrote, “that kid joke again. Travis pls don’t forget that your manifestation skill is coming true all the time 😁.”
Another fan commented, “Travis literally makes me laugh all of the time 🤣🤣🤣.”
Meanwhile, someone else pointed out, “Except he’s 34 😂.” (Kelce doesn’t turn 35 until Oct. 5.)
Yet another TikTok user wrote, “Awwww he’s heard the rumors about Taylor [Swift] & protected her here. ‘I have no kids.'”
Someone else commented, “Paul Rudd taking pics on his phone like a proud dad is the best part.”
To be fair, Kelce and Mahomes still have plenty of time left before training camp and practices begin in late July for the 2024-25 NFL season. So dad-bod on, fellas!
