An alleged leaked ‘contract’ has revealed the exact date that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will apparently split up.
When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce confirmed their relationship, fans of the pop star were convinced she had found her perfect match.
Their romance seemed like a plot straight out of a Hollywood movie: the globally renowned singer and the star athlete falling in love while the world looked on.
However, rumors of an impending split began swirling when a document purportedly from Kelce’s U.S. PR firm surfaced online. The document, which appeared to be on letterhead from the Los Angeles-based agency Full Scope, detailed a strategy for announcing the breakup, allegedly scheduled for September 28.
The supposed plan outlined in the document included releasing an official statement three days after the breakup to allow time for the initial media frenzy to die down and ensure clarity. The proposed announcement was described as “gracious, respectful, and emphasizing mutual respect.”
The statement, according to the document, would say something like: “Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time. They are both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best.”
Additionally, the document suggested that the announcement would point out Kelce’s “personal growth,” portraying the breakup as a “natural part of life.” It would also highlight his dedication to his career and his ongoing success in the sports industry.
The plan allegedly included sending the statement to major media outlets to ensure widespread coverage.
A spokesperson for Full Scope quickly refuted the claims, stating that the documents were “entirely false and fabricated” and had not been created, issued, or authorized by the agency.
The representative added that they had engaged legal counsel to pursue those responsible for the fraudulent documents, though identifying the culprits is expected to be challenging.
Despite the denial, some fans remain skeptical. One Reddit user remarked that the document “reads like a high school assignment,” while another suggested it looked like it had been generated by “chat gtp.”
Travis Kelce is represented at the U.S. firm by Jack Ketsoyan and Pia Malihi. Ketsoyan has previously admitted to orchestrating “showmances”—publicity-driven relationships between celebrities. In a 2019 interview on the Australian podcast Mamamia’s The Quicky, Ketsoyan explained that these fake relationships are often set up to promote a project or distract from negative publicity, saying, “It’s all about selling the hype—whether it’s a concert, album, or movie.”
Taylor Swift was previously accused of being in a “showmance” with actor Tom Hiddleston in 2016, following her breakup with Calvin Harris. Their relationship lasted only about three months before ending in September of that year.
After months of speculation, Swift and Kelce went public with their romance on September 24 of last year, when Swift accepted Kelce’s invitation to watch him play for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Love Story singer was photographed in the stands alongside his mother, marking her first time meeting his family, an occasion that reportedly “went well.”
