NFL fans are foaming at the mouth. Many are excited for week one to begin tonight when the Chiefs take on the Ravens in Kansas City. Tomorrow night, the NFL will also play its first-ever game in Brazil, as the Eagles and Packers are set to face off in Sao Paulo.

Fans and players have raised many concerns. Brazil has seen its crime rates rise exponentially in 2024, and the players feel as though they are in danger just being there after the league sent many messages.

That worry has only been added to the Amazon Rainforest, which is burning and blanketing Sao Paulo and the surrounding areas of Brazil in smoke. Pictures have emerged showing the stadium where the game will take place.

Corinthians Arena In Sao Paulo, Brazil Looking Run Down Ahead Of NFL Week One

It is safe to say many fans do not approve of Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as it looks extremely daunting and run-down. Many X posts have shown pictures, and fans are going wild in the comments sections.

One fan commented on an X post by Dov Kleiman ripping the Brazil stadium, stating, “Structurally it’s kinda bleh, grass looks like crap. Can barely tell an nfl game is happening soon, logos are tiny. Left a giant hole in the roof.”

Another fan noted that the field is not intended for NFL action, essentially begging for the NFL to make sure that the field, originally used as a soccer pitch, is good enough for use, “make that soccer pitch safe for our players. isn’t it more soft and spongey than US fields? no ankles , no caught spikes and knee twists. nothing.”

Other fans were simply in disbelief. One asked if the stadium post was a joke, while another straight-up claimed that it couldn’t be the actual field where the Packers and Eagles are going to square off.

After all is said and done, NFL fans remain excited for the season to start. No changes have been made to the league’s week one schedule, and it’s highly doubtful that they will, as it obviously starts tonight in Kansas City.
