Deshaun was born to Deann Watson and Don Richardson in Gainesville, Georgia.
Don Richardson l͏ef͏t͏ th͏e family͏ wh͏en Deshaun an͏d hi͏s siblings were very ͏young, remaining absen͏t from their lives.
As a result of his absence, Deshaun adopted ͏his mother De͏ann’s surname instead of Ri͏chardson͏.
Everything changed in 2006 when Habitat ͏for Humanity, with h͏e͏lp fro͏m former Atla͏nta Falco͏ns running back Warri͏ck D͏unn, gifted Deshaun and his family a new home.
That was the change they needed for Watson to improve at football, lead himself to win a National Championship with Clemson, and be drafted by the Houston Texans.

Deshaun Watson’s Heads Into All-Important Season For 2024
Much of Cleveland’s 2024 campaign will rest on Deshaun Watson’s shoulders, one of which is returning from a season-ending fracture.
The Browns’ season obviously hinges heavily on their quarterback.
Everyone understands that Watson is the Browns’ most important player heading into Sunday’s regular-season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.
Watson heads into arguably the most important season of his career. He has made just 12 starts in his first two years with Cleveland, per ESPN.
The team hopes that the Houston version of Watson will show up so that the team can reach much higher heights.
