The officer who pulled over Tyreek Hill estimated that the Miami Dolphins wide receiver was going about 20 miles per hour over the speed limit as he was making his way to Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.
We are now getting a full look at what that officer saw before he decided to make that decision that would end up going viral.
Body cam footage was released this week showing the officer spotted Hill driving quickly in his black McLaren 720S right past him.
Officers later said they clocked Hill going 60 mph. Hill’s official citation, released Tuesday, detailed a “high rate of speed visual estimation 60 mph.”

Both violations, as noted by the citations themselves, qualify as an “infraction that does not require an appearance in court.”

Tyreek was driving too fast, but what happened to him afterward way too far.
During the traffic stop, Hill was instructed by the officers to get out of the vehicle after rolling up his window during the stop and refused to put it down.
One of the cops then opened Hill’s door, and then he was grabbed and thrown to the concrete.
Tyreek Hill Tells CNN He’s ‘Embarrassed’ By Cop Incident
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill told his side of the story when he informed CNN that he is still reeling from being detained by police on Sunday as he drove to Hard Rock Stadium for the first game of the NFL season.
While all eyes were on the team playing in their first game of the year, the focus shifted ahead of kickoff as police officers detained star wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
“I was shocked. It was crazy because it all happened so fast. Like for me, it just all happened so fast and I really couldn’t like gather everything that was happening,” Hill said on “The Source.”
“I wasn’t moving fast because you know I got injuries, I got things that I go through. I play a physical sport, I’ve been doing this for a moment now man so I’m dealing with some stuff, so I guess the officers they felt like I wasn’t doing it on their timing,” he added. “I was doing it but I’m still kind of shell shocked from it. I’m embarrassed.”
