Chennedy Carter hit back at Draymond Green after the four-time NBA champion said the Indiana Fever need an enforcer to protect star rookie Caitlin Clark.
‘Indiana better go invest in an enforcer… FAST!’ Green wrote in the comments section of an ESPNW post on Instagram, after the No. 1 draft pick was brutally bodychecked by Carter on the court Saturday.
The Chicago Sky player faced widespread backlash for seemingly yelling ‘you b***h’ before shoving Clark to the ground, which resulted in a flagrant foul.
‘we grown asf & y’all talking about enforcer man gtfoh , hoop or shut up,’ she wrote on X Sunday morning.
Although most of Clark’s teammates had already headed down the court when Carter slammed into her, fans took issue with the fact nobody on the Fever reacted to the incident at all.

‘Indiana better go invest in an enforcer… FAST!’ Green wrote over the weekend
‘Her teammates not retaliating is a problem for me! I’m all for the tough love but her team should at least make her feel safe,’ one person wrote on Instagram.
Another chimed in, ‘Notice Caitlyn’s teammates didn’t come to her defense OR even try to help her up?’
A third person wrote, ‘They need a Dillon Brooks and a Draymond Green… gotta protect the shooter.’
Matt Barnes, a 14-year NBA veteran and former champion, also heaped criticism on Clark’s teammates.
‘I mean, throughout the season, she’s been getting beat up. Hard screens, elbows, knocked down,’ he said. ‘It is what it is; she’s not the first, she won’t be the last.’

Carter refused to answer questions about Clark, but spoke out on social media
‘My issue and my question is, Where the f*** are her teammates at? Where y’all at? Where are the rest of the Indiana Fever at?’
Barnes, who played alongside greats like Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul throughout his career, was at times an enforcer himself.
‘I was someone who protected the stars. You f*** with Kobe, [Chris Paul], Blake [Griffin], the list goes on, it’s going to be a problem,’ he went on.
‘You guys are supposed to be a family. And you wonder why you sit at the bottom of the league right now, it’s because y’all don’t protect each other, man. Coach don’t do s*** about it, players don’t do s*** about it. Y’all should be ashamed of it.’

Clark’s boyfriend and brother have also both weighed in after she was body slammed
While Carter refused to answer questions about Clark after the Sky’s 71-70 loss on Saturday, she had a lot to say on social media afterwards.
‘Beside three point shooting what does [Clark] bring to the table man,’ she wrote on Threads.
Clark’s boyfriend and brother have also both weighed in on the row – liking tweets slamming her former rival, Angel Reese, who celebrated when Carter body slammed her opponent to the ground.
In one post, Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy called Reese a ‘classless piece of s***’ after her infamous ring celebration at Clark during their college days.
Another referred to Reese as ‘highkey not good… she’s just bigger than everyone.’
