The topic of discussion on Friday was whether or not Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa should retire or not following yet another concussion he sustained during Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
One former player and current head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, Antonio Pierce, voiced his concern for Tua’s long-term health. While speaking to reporters Friday, Pierce said he would advise Tagovailoa to retire.
“He’s going to live longer than he’s going to play football,” Pierce said. “Take care of your family”

Tagovailoa exited the game against Buffalo in the third quarter after he scrambled for a first down and crashed into Bills safety Damar Hamlin before his head bounced off the turf. He was examined by Miami’s medical staff for several minutes on the field before walking off under his own power. It was his third diagnosed concussion in the past two years.
