NFL official COLLAPSES on sideline at Ravens vs Raiders game

The Baltimore Ravens‘ game against the Las Vegas Raiders was briefly delayed Sunday after a member of the chain gang suffered a medical emergency.

A sideline official collapsed during the second quarter of the NFL Week 2 matchup in Baltimore and received CPR on the sidelines.

The official, who was working the first-down chain marker, was later taken off the field on a stretcher and transported to the hospital.

After the chain crew member went down, players from both teams took the knee as Ravens medical staff attended to the official.

The Raiders’ Harrison Bryant looked particularly shaken by the situation as he covered his face with his hand.

The Ravens later said on X that the official was ‘alert and responsive’ as he was taken off of the field.

He was also seen waving his hand and moving his mouth as he was stretchered off, according to The Athletic.

The game was delayed for about 10 minutes during the ordeal.

The Ravens ultimately lost the game 26-23 after surrendering a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter.

They’ll visit the Cowboys next week as they look to avoid an 0-3 start, while the Raiders will host the Panthers.
