Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are the power couple of the century. Everyone who watches the NFL knows Kelce and Swift are in cahoots together, and it can get to a point where it’s too much.
One of those recently happened when their political stances were brought into the public eye. Swift publicly endorsed presidential candidate Kamala Harris for the 2024 election following Trump’s “thank you” after being fooled by AI.
X’s co-owner Elon Musk noticed the endorsement and commented on his platform. “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life,” posted the 53-year-old Musk.
The following day, a verified account, who some thought to be the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end, replied to the post, completely fooling NFL analyst Colin Cowherd, who proceeded to make his own comment on the reply on his show The Herd.

Colin Cowherd Laughs At Fake Travis Kelce News
After claiming that he tries to stay off his phone, Cowherd said he saw “Travis Kelce and Elon Musk going at it on X.” He then commented that he believes the Chiefs are the best team in football right now.
Cowherd believes Kelce sent the reply, which he did not: “I’m 6’5′ and actually play football. The fact that I went to college, got a degree, and worked hard might be lost on you. I don’t play backgammon, but I do play chess. I could also twist you into a pretzel.“
Unfortunately for everyone who was looking to make a story out of this, the account was clearly not Kelce’s. Rather, it was an imposter who clearly accomplished their goal, as they got one of the biggest sports personalities out there to bite on the fake news.
