Tyreek Hill has jokingly questioned if his teammate Tua Tagovailoa is on Ozempic, as he claimed that the now-slimmed down Dolphins quarterback was ‘fat a* s***’ last season at the team’s organized team activities (OTAs) on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters at Miami’s practice facility, Hill, 30, was asked about his signal-caller’s unrecognizable look as various outlets report that Tagovailoa lost 25 pounds this offseason.
For context, Tagovailoa’s weight is listed at 227 pounds on the Dolphins’ website. He is also six-ft-one.
‘What I’m seeing out of Tua, man… I ain’t going to lie… I saw Tua at the Pro Bowl… I was kind of scared. He was fat as s***,’ Hill said at first.
‘How skinny he got, what’s the stuff everybody is taking… Ozempic? … He had to be taking that.’

Fellow Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle also poked fun at Tagovailoa’s dramatic body transformation.
‘I told him I miss chubby Tua,’ he told The NFL Network.
Meanwhile, Tagovailoa said he lost weight simply by embracing a new routing and reducing his intake of sweets.
‘Diet and exercise and cutting sugars,’ the quarterback told The Palm Beach Post, adding: ‘I feel better. Quicker on my feet. More nimble. I can extend plays more.’
Tagovailoa also expressed his lack of concern about his contract situation, although he would prefer that it’d be sorted out sooner rather than later. The 26-year-old was drafted as the fifth overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft by Miami but has only played in one playoff game since then – a wild-card loss to the Kansas City Chiefs – last season.

He’s missed considerable amount of game time in the past due to concussions. This season, Tagovailoa is entering the final year of his rookie deal and will play on a $23.1million fifth-year option in 2024 if a deal is not reached.
‘Just wanting to get something done,’ he conceded, ‘That’s it … Antsy might be a good word.’
Dolphins general manager Chris Grier wants to keep Tagovailoa in Miami long term.
‘We’ve been in communication since the offseason began,’ Grier said in February. ‘Our goal is to try and get something done. … We’ll see. There is no timeline on it. At the end of the day, you know how these deals get done. They are complicated deals.’
